Two ways to install MicsRO v2: the full client, or a lite client that reuses the data.grf from an existing Ragnarok Online installation.

Full game client Recommended

Everything in one download: the base data.grf, music, and the MicsRO patcher. No other Ragnarok install needed.

Lite client Compact

The same client and patcher without the base data.grf and BGM music folder. Copy both from a clean Ragnarok Online installation into the MicsRO folder after extracting.

Setup

  1. Create an account

    Register a game account here on the site before you launch the client.

  2. Extract and set up

    Unpack the archive into a folder such as C:\Games\MicsRO\. Lite players: copy data.grf and the BGM folder from a clean Ragnarok Online install into it. Run Setup.exe to pick your resolution.

  3. Launch and play

    Run MicsRO-Patcher.exe so it downloads the latest patches and starts the game, then sign in with the account you created and pick a character slot.
